Me & Green Day

I've always liked music. I remember when two o three years ago I heard the first song of their album American Idiot. I've really liked it, so I decide to bought the CD. I started listening the best songs of the album, and after having listened the CD lot's and lot's of times I start liking all of the songs.
That album was the last album that they've make, so I started buying all their albmus.
Now a days I have all of their important albums and the ones that are not so important, like concerts. Those CD's are also good althought most of the people doesn't even know that exists. I also have posters, fotos and magazines where their apear.
Theres one thing that makes these album especial and better than the other ones of Green Day. The whole album explains us a story of a young punk guy that lives in an invented town called "Jingletown". We don't know the name of this guy but after the second song, he changes his name to St.Jimmy. All the songs are explianing us the story of his mum, his firends, his relationship, his whole life, and finnaly his dead.



I know lot's of ridiculous things about them and their lifes. For example I know the name of the fish of Billy Joe's son. It's name is Speedy.
I like very much the album American Idiot but I don't like their new stile of band that they've become. They are a very comercial band, I prefer the way that they where some years ago. Their music was a punk stile but now has became in a comercial rock that give them lot of money, that helps them to organize very big and good concerts and really nice songs.
In the last three years they've been going arround the world playing in different important cities. They could make this because of the money they earned after publicated the album American Idiot. But after five years without making any CD they've said that in the begining of April they are going to publicate their new album called 21th Century Brakedown. The songs of these CD are similar at the ones of their last album ( 2004 ). We can listen a little part of a song that it's called like the album in their web page (www.greenday.com). In the web site you can listen to new songs and watch the video clips that they've been making since they made their first song. It's funny to compair the way they are now with how they where 20 years ago.
